| About | Daniel “Dan” A. Norris, 69 of Nashport, died, Monday, September 18, 2017, at Genesis Hospital Emergency Department following a very sudden illness. Dan was born Thursday, March 18, 1948 in Zanesville, the son of John R. Norris and Juanita Maxine (Roberts) Norris. He married Alecia K. (Richardson) Norris on Wednesday, December 24, 1975. Dan was employed with Zanesville City Schools retiring following over 32 years of service and was a member of the American Legion Post 29. Dan loved to be outdoors enjoying boating, fishing, camping and hunting. He was an avid NASCAR fan and followed Jimmy Johnson # 48. He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved the time he spent with this family. Dan is survived by his mother: Maxine Norris of Zanesville; wife: Alecia Norris of Nashport; three children: Daniel A. (Valerie) Norris, Jr. of Zanesville, Michelle (Jeremey) Eveland of Crooksville and Sabrina Owens of Hope Mills, NC; three grandchildren: Jonathan (Shawnee Brownfield) Back of South Zanesville, Danielle Norris of Newark and Tyler Norris of Crooksville; one great grandson: Braxton Back; three siblings: Karen (David) Davis of Lancaster, Patrick (Holly) Norris and Brother Rex Norris of Auburn, Maine; several nieces and one nephew Dan was preceded in death by his father. In accordance with Dan’s wishes, a cremation will take place and private Graveside Services will take place at a later date in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
