About | BRENTWOOD, CA: Daniel Alan Brown, 58, formerly of Zanesville, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Brentwood, CA, following an extended illness. Born December 13, 1956, he is the son of Ted A Brown and W Joann Brown both of Zanesville. Dan was a graduate of Zanesville High School and MAJVS and attended Bowling Green State University. He was formerly employed at Bank of America in both New York and California. His greatest attribute in life was the kindness and compassion that he extended to others. Even as he faced his own adversities, he was always ready to help those in need. Dan loved to cook and enjoyed bringing his friends and family together. His memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, his loving son Brandon Brown of Walnut Creek, CA; brothers Ted Douglas Brown of Mt Eden, CA and Donald Brown of Zanesville; sisters Diane (Michael) McHenry of Zanesville, Debbie Brown of Roseville and Donna (Douglas) Hahn of Enterprise, AL; nieces Angela Crowley and Christi Jo Hahn, nephew Craig Hahn, and great-nephew Mason Dement; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles and close cousins including a special aunt, Deloris Bronkar. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Zanesville. |
