| About | Daniel L. Marple, 72 of Chandlersville, passed away on April 27, 2022, at Genesis Hospital. He was born on September 6, 1949, son of the late Harold L. Marple and Helen M. Rognon. Daniel was a machinist by trade and a member of the Norval Park Church of Christ. In his free time, he loved wood working and golfing with his father. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife; Christina Marple; children, Eric Marple, Amy Hopson, Sara (Mitchell) Marple-Scalise, Marcie (Michael) Rice, Scott Calendine, Sean (Heidi) Calendine; sisters, Sandy Tubbs, Connie (Cevin) Northrup. Christy (Bobby) Hayhurst, Patty Ellis; grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, Noah, Nathan, Gabriel, Slade, Paige, Steel, Kane, Brayden, Susanna, Linus, Malcolm, Harriet, and Rosemary; special friends, Tom and Teresa Lichtner; special dogs, Mitzi and Oliver. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Marple. Calling hours will be held on Monday May 2, 2022 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home. Services will be held after calling hours at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. Burial will follow services at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. |
