| About | ZANESVILLE -- Daniel Lee Mortimer, 55, of Zanesville, died on June 9, 2008 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on June 26, 1952 to the late Harold Norris and Ruby Ashcraft Mortimer. A 1970 graduate of Zanesville High School, he served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the Air National Guard, was employed by Lowes as a department manager, and was a member of The American Legion. Daniel is survived by a son, Shawn (Stacie) Mortimer of Zanesville; two brothers, William (Marsha) Mortimer of Zanesville, James Mortimer of Brentwood, CA; his former wife, Sheryl Murphy; and two grandchildren, Hallie Williamson of Zanesville and Brianna Mortimer of Zanesville. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Zanesville Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Boyer officiating. The Snouffer Funeral Home, 1150 W. Military Rd., Zanesville is caring for the family. |
