Daniel Thomas “Danny” Bohn, 71, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1949 in Zanesville to the late Charles and Ora Godfrey Bohn Sr. He was a 1967 graduate of Zanesville High School. He was a retired diesel mechanic for the Muskingum County Highway Depart and also worked through the years at Sands Mining, Grief Brothers, RE West, Waste Management, Mattingly Foods and Allstate Leasing. Danny was a member of St. Nicholas Church, the Knights of Columbus and Ohio Horsemans’ Council Muskingum County Chapter. He enjoyed horseback riding, golfing, playing “Bohn Wins!”, fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting and going to the Wilds. He enjoyed spending time with his three granddaughters, setting around campfires, drinking beer and passing around the answer bottle. He served his country and protected our freedom in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughter Natalie Donnelly; brother Paul (Nancy) Bohn; and his three granddaughters: Arden, Nevyn and Kennah. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles William Bohn infant, Charles Bohn Jr. and James Bohn. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Thursday May 27 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to funeral services. Funeral services will be at 1PM Friday, May 28 in the Snouffer Chapel, followed by Military Honors by VFW Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29. |
