About | Daniel Kevin West, 51, of Zanesville, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at his home. He was born April 30, 1956, in Zanesville to James L. and Arieta L. Barlow West of Zanesville. He was a programmer analyst, a member of Cornerstone Full Gospel Church and enjoyed troubleshooting and fixing computers. Surviving in addition to his parents are three daughters; Erin (Brent) Smitley of Zanesville, Megan West of Nashport and Amy West of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Cassandra Lynn, Clayton, Colton and Carly Smitley; four sisters, Nancy (Kenneth) Argo of Zanesville, Kathy (Al) Campbell of Pickerington, Julie (Chris) Swingle of Nashport and Rita (Eric) Davis of Morristown, Tenn.; three brothers, James L. (Marcia) West Jr. of Columbus, Mark (Tara) West of Zanesville and Joseph (Elma) West of Anchorage, Alaska; an aunt, Janice Pringle of Randolph, N.Y.; an uncle, Leslie Barlow of Roseville; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis West. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, with Rev. Stephen J. Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery.
