About Danny Lee Fraunfelter, 65, of Nashport, passed away Friday, December 09, 2011, at his residence with his loving family at his side.

Danny was born April 19, 1946 in Zanesville to Evelyn Fraunfelter Cicero and the late Edward Fraunfelter of Zanesville. He served in the US Army from 1964-1967. Danny retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 43 years of service. He was a member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church where he served as church treasurer, member of the choir and a deacon. He loved playing golf, singing and playing the guitar, auctions and thrift shopping. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and many friends.

Danny courageously and faithfully battled sarcoma for 2 ½ years. "I fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8

In addition to his mother, Evelyn Fraunfelter Cicero; Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Carol Rambo Fraunfelter; mother-in-law, Betty Rambo; son, Sean (Jennifer) Fraunfelter of Cincinnati; daughters, Leslie (Mike) Rodich of Thornville and Nikki (Brent) Ring of Sagamore Hills; brothers and sisters, Jack (Debbie) Fraunfelter, Mary (Jack) Riemenschneider, Jeff (Linda) Fraunfelter, Tom (Roxanne) Fraunfelter, Jim (Saundra) Fraunfelter and Kathy Felix; grandchildren, Madison, Rylee, Raine, Isaac, Griffin and Brooklyn; many special nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Donovan.

In addition to his father; he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bill Rambo.

A memorial celebration will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 at 7 p.m. at Fair Oaks Baptist Church, 1025 Woodlawn Avenue, Zanesville with Pastor Carl Finley officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 7 p.m.
