| About | Darius Markum "DM" Ford Sr., 43, of Zanesville, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2001. Ford was born January 10, 1958, in Bellaire, Ohio to William Murray Ford Sr. and Elizabeth Mary (Terry) Ford. Ford attended the Greater Apostolic Church of Christ and former employee of the Longaberger Company. He was a self-employed Kung-Fu instructor who was well known for Tae-Bo classes, which he taught in the Zanesville, Cambridge, Newark and Coshocton areas. Ford was also the offensive coordinator for the Muskingum Valley Cobras football team and active in the flag foorball program in the area, where he also coached youth teams in track, soccer and basketball. Ford is survivied in death by his mother; his wife, Marcia (Miller) Ford; a special friend, Aliana Smalley; a daughter Ammie (Chad) Buchanan; one son, Darius Markum "DM" Ford Jr.; one step-son, Cody Miller; three grandchildren, Tristen, Makakyla and Justus Buchanan; five sisters, Belita, Tanara, Vashti, Ritheen and Francheska; six brothers, Willie M. Jr., Stephan, Ian, Quintenius, Levin and Ozend; his maternal grandmother, Della Mae Hardin and close friends Steve Paisley, Buddy Spraggins and Pam Ford. Ford was preceded in death by his father. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. |
