| About | Darla Jane Axline, 63, of Zanesville, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at her residence due to natural causes. She was born December 1, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard Brown and Edna Jane Klinehoffer Axline. She earned a BS degree in Education from Ohio University and taught physical education and special education for the Zanesville School System for thirty years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of OES Chapter 485, Ohio Education System, OEA, and NEA. She was also a member of the Fair Oaks Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister Debra Anne (William Weaver) Axline McGaughey of Nashport, brothers Richard Axline of Florida and David (Rebecca) Axline of Loveland, Ohio, several nieces and nephews among them Jennifer (Michael) Parmiter and several great nieces and nephews and cousins. Friends may call from 10 am-12 noon and 1-2PM Friday, April 5, 2012 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. Pete Mathewson officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park. |
