David A. Kent, age 67 of Tampa, FL, formerly of Zanesville, died 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 24, 2022, at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. He was born Thursday, January 27, 1955, in Zanesville, the son of Allen Edward Kent and Doris Elaine(Andrews) Kent. He married Gina (Paulus) Kent on Saturday, May 20, 1978. David was a Master Woodworker and Craftsman. After moving from Zanesville to Milford, NH, David was a volunteer fireman with the Milford Volunteer Fire Department. He loved sports, especially baseball and basketball. While living in Milford, David coached Cal Ripken Baseball, Babe Ruth Baseball and A.A.U. Basketball. Managed the Milford Babe Ruth League. Served as Director of Souhegan Babe Ruth League. He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish for bass and trout in the back waters. David was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who loved the time he spent with his family . In addition to his wife, David is survived by two sons, Kristopher David (Morgan Cutler) Kent and Kevin Douglas Kent; two grandchildren, Kallie Jordyn Kent and Kole David Kent and one on the way; one brother, Keith (Elana) Kent; four brothers & sisters in law, William James (Lynn) Paulus, Daniel Lee (Elizabeth) Chuhna, Tina (Mike) Bales-Nelson and Diana (Mark) Lehman, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers, Karl Kent and Kevin Kent. |
