| About | David B. Denton, 20 of 447 Adair Avenue, was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident at 10:18 pm Friday, August 2, 1974. He was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center where he died in the emergency room of Massive internal chest injuries. Mr. Denton was riding east on Adair Avenue when he lost control of his cycle rounding a curve. The vehicle went off the road and struck a tree in front of a residence at 1934 Adair Avenue, police said. He was born in Zanesville on February 13, 1954, a son of Frederick and Clarice Johns Denton of 447 Adair Avenue. He was a 1973 graduate of Zanesville High School, a member of Central Presbyterian church and was employed at custom Pallet Company. Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Thomas of 544 Brookover Avenue and Douglas of the home; a sister, Mrs. Lucinda McGinnis of Kenova, WV, and his grandmother, Mrs. Raymond Smith of 2131 Dresden Road. Burial will be in Memorial Park. |
