About | David "Shaff" Duane Kennison, age 55 of Zanesville, left the suffering of this life on Friday, January 13, 2017 at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center. David was born in Zanesville, on September 9, 1961 to the late Arthur and Erma (Dovenbarger) Kennison. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by sisters, Diane and Cheryl; and a brother, Earl. He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his children, Jennifer (Todd) Kennison, Joshua Kennison, and Ashley (Shane) Durant; grandchildren, Lukas and Alisha Kennison and Raylynn Durant; a sister, Kath Kennison; his better half, Connie Bradley and her family, including children, Darla (Randy) Donaldson, Deidra (Kenny) Click, and Jessica (David) Spires, and several grandchildren; as well as a host of many friends and family members. David was an avid sports fan with his biggest support to The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved football and was a long-time NFL fan. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing, among other sports. David was an outdoorsman and spent some of his free time fishing. He also loved hosting parties for his family members and enjoyed their company. David is sure to be missed by all who knew him. A viewing will be held, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with words of encouragement to follow from Minister Jim Workman, at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle Street. Cremation will follow. |
