| About | SPRINGFIELD: David Spinks, 62, of Springfield, died at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born June 25, 1948, in Zanesville, a son of the late Donald and Bertha L. Bagent Spinks. He was a licensed administrator in water and waste water treatment for over 40 years. He was also an avid sports fan. Surviving are four daughters, Sandra Spinks of Mount Sterling, Ohio, and Terri Jo (Jeremy) Hutslar of Galloway, OH, Sabrina (Grant) Alvord of Hutto, Texas, and Wendy Crittenden of Newark, Ohio; three sons, Kevin Spinks, Brent Spinks and Barry Spinks all of Zanesville; a sister, Donna Sue (Randy) Vandenbark of Springfield, Ohio; a very special nephew, Ronald Spinks; one niece; four other nephews; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald R. Spinks. Burial will br at Greenwood Cemetery. |
