| About | Delores E. Sims of 848 Goddard Ave. passed away at 4:27 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center with her loving family at her side. She was born in Zanesville on August 27, 1931 to Ernest A. and Mary Switzer Sims and was retired from Brockway Glass. She is survived by daughter, Sue Ann Myers of Delaware, Ohio; a son-in-law, Robert Breese of Millstone, West Virginia; grandsons, Andy Myers of Delaware, Ohio, and Marcus (Erin) Breese of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a great grandson, Jack Breese of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Fred Sims, Floyd (Jeannie) Sims, and Earl (Sarah) Sims all of Zanesville; a sister-in-law, Lela Sims; a niece; several nephews and their families; and her very dear and cherished friend, Cathy Snyder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Jean Breese; sisters, Norma Jean and Helen; brother-in-law, Raymond McBee; and brothers, Harold and James. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday with Rev. John Edwards officiating and interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery. |
