ZANESVILLE: Donald E. Mayle, 59 of Zanesville, died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his daughter's home following a brief illness. He was born Friday, March 30 1956 in Zanesville, the son of Paul Mayle and Emily (Norris) Mayle. He married Jeanne (Kennedy) Mayle on May 10, 1982. He retired from Laborer's Union #530 and was a former Paving Foreman for the Shelley Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing his guitar to country and classic rock.He is survived by two daughters, Scarlet Mayle and her fiancé William Rose and Rachel Mayle, all of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Janetta, Marissa, and William Alphonse; his father-in-law, Marvin Kennedy, Sr.; two sisters, Vicki (Harry) Tabler and Tootie (Marvin) Kennedy, Jr.; two brothers, John (Kathy) Mayle and Gary (Debra) Mayle; and many nieces, nephew cousins and friends.In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne L. Mayle who died December 5, 2008; one sister, Frances Mayle; and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Kennedy.Friends may call Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 11AM to 1PM at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held at 1PM with Rev. Terry F. Newman officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. |
