About | Donald E. Paisley, 86, of Zanesville, died at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Helen Purcell Home. Don was born November 4, 1923 in Zanesville the son of the late James E. and Margareth M. "Peg" Miller Paisley. He was a WW II Veteran of the US Army Air Force, member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, former manager of Top Value Stamp Store and was owner of Paisley Upholstery. Don was a hard worker who enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He is survived by sons, Mark (Margaret) Paisley of Columbus and Kirk (Belinda) Paisley of Granville; grandchildren, Julie (Ryan) Millians, Kirk (Sara) Paisley, Matt (Kelly) Paisley, Eric Paisley, Kirsten Paisley and Ross Paisley; great grandchildren, Leah Millians, Spencer Paisley and Mason Paisley; brother, Dick (Jean) Paisley of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Donna Paisley who died January 1996; brother, Robert Paisley; half sister, Margaret Warner; and half brother, James Paisley. Visitation for Don will be 4:00- 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. where funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 with Rev. Larry Kudart officiating. Committal service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. |
