WOOSTER: Donald G. Slack, 91, of Wooster, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home following three years of declining health. He previously resided for nine years at The Inn at North Hills, Zanesville, Ohio. A graveside service and burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wednesday July 29 at 10:30am with Dean Cole officiating, where military rites will be held. Tributes may be made online at www.robertsfuneralhome.comDonald was born December 7, 1923 in Zanesville, Ohio to Pearl and Ethel (Stainbrook) Slack.He graduated from Ohio State University in 1949. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII.He worked as a CPA for 45 years in the Zanesville area. Donald was a member of St. Luke's Church in Zanesville.Donald will be deeply missed by nephew Paul (Marta) Slack of Wooster.Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Raymond and Paul Slack, Sr. |
