About | Donald Julius Walker, 90, of 277 Elm St., Duncan Falls, and formerly of 3352 Racquet Club Drive, died at 6:15am Fridan, May 6, 1994, at Sunnyview Nursing Home. Born March 3, 1904, in Falls Township, Muskingum County, Mr. Walker was a former foreman at Timkin Roller Bearing Co. and retired as a real estate salesman for the C. V. Perry Co. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a former custodian for the church's park, a former member of the Men's Club, former deacon and trustee of the church, a member of the Golden Agers and was the congregational representative for the Lutheran Laymens League. Survivors include his wife, Marie Thomas Donahue Walker;one daughter, Norma Jean Lutz of Zanesville; one grandson, William R Lutz of Grove City; two stepsons, Thomas E. Donahue of Waterford and David Donahue of Zanesville; eight stepgrand-children; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vinton E. and Ellen M. Gates Walker; his first wife, Helen Achaurer, who died Feb. 26, 1980; two brothers, James T. Walker and Arthur H. Walker; and two sisters, Isabelle Bowen and Hanna Prosser. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park. |
