About | Donna Steinman, 87, of Zanesville passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Altercare of Zanesville. Mrs. Steinman was born December 18, 1936, to the late Donald P. and Betty B. Jones. Donna graduated from Lash High School in 1954 and attended Oberlin College. She worked for many years at First National Bank of Zanesville, then alongside her late husband, David Steinman owned and operated Saup Roofing Company. Mrs. Steinman was active in the community. She volunteered at the Bethesda Hospital in the gift shop, life-long supporter and volunteer for The Animal Shelter Society and The American Red Cross. In 2014, Donna was awarded the Hometown Hero Award for her service to The American Red Cross. Mrs. Steinman was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed her dogs, reading, playing cards and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband she was proceeded in death by her brother Herbert “Tim” Jones. Mrs. Steinman leaves behind her son Andrew (Shala) Steinman, granddaughter Summer Bay Steinman and her beloved dogs Miranda, Pickle and Brutus. Per the wishes of Mrs. Steinman, a cremation will take place followed by a private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
