About | Donna Sue (Spinks) Vandenbark, 71, of Zanesville, died at 11:01 P.M. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Genesis Hospice Morrison-House, Zanesville. She was born April 20, 1951 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Donald and Bertha (Bagent) Spinks. Donna enjoyed bowling, sewing, and reading. She lived in Springfield for 38 years and retired in 2006 after working 13 years at Catherine’s Dress Shop in Springfield, but greatest of all her achievements would be, being a devoted wife, partner, mother and grandmother! She is survived by a daughter Shannon (Chambo) Chamberlain; a son Ian (Addie) Vandenbark; five grandchildren, Alisha (Jeremy) Stilwell, Ashlyn (Phillip) Gers, Justin (Alanna) Chamberlain, Ava Vandenbark, and Ilan Vandenbark; her loving companion Daniel Nardone; sister-in-law Chris Mesaros; her furry friends, Teddy, Nick and Gerty; longtime friend Kathy Tranbarger; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Randy G Vandenbark; and two brothers; Donald Jr. and David Spinks. Friends and family may call from 11:00 – 1:00 Monday, March 13, 2023. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Mr. Bill Meaige officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Randy at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville. |
