About | Doris Carolyn Robinson, 77, of Nashport, died at 10:40 A.M. on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Cedar Hill Care Center. She was born November 7, 1936, in Portsmouth, OH, a daughter of the late Howard William and Edna James Bobst. She was a 1955 graduate of Zanesville High School, a member of the Cooperdale Church of the Nazarene, and was proud to be a Pastor’s Wife. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Rev. Allan “Scottie” Robinson, whom she married May 20, 1956; a son John Robinson of Coshocton; a daughter Katrina (Samuel) Sweely Sr. of Beloit, OH; four grandchildren, Jessica Blake, Samuel Lee Sweely Jr., Zachary Robinson, and Garrett Robinson; three great grandchildren, Hunter Blake, Emily Blake, and Lydia Cook; three foster grandchildren, Jacob Brown, and twins Cheyenne and Alexis Brown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Donald Bobst; and a sister Joyce Fox. She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville. |
