| About | LA PINE, OR: Doris L. Blomquist, 76 of La Pine, Oregon, entered eternal life December 25, 2013, after a short illness. Doris was born in Zanesville, Ohio, November 22, 1937, the daughter of Susanna and Willard McNerney. She graduated from Zanesville High School in 1956. Doris is survived by her husband of 48 years, John; a son, Tommy; sisters, Ruth Thome, Martha (Tom) Gillogly, carol Brasseur and Wilma (Dan) Wolfe, all of Zanesville, Ohio; brothers Gene (Joyce) McNerney of Newark, Ohio, Grant (Debbie) McNerney of Winter Haven, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Clinton; sisters, Alice Dobbins, Catherine McNerney; brothers Robert "Bob" McNerney, George McNerney and infant brother Charles. Honoring Doris' wishes a Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 1:00pm at La Pine Community Cemetery located at the end of Reed Road in La Pine. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to everyone for their prayers and support during Doris' short illness. Baird Memorial Chapel is honored to have served the Blomquist family. |
