| About | Mrs. Doris Maneely Chernan, 61, a Zanesville native and wife of A. T. Chernan, of Munster, Indiana, died early Monday morning, November 15, 1965 at Mercy Hospital in Gary, Indiana, after a six month illness. Mrs. Chernan resided here until her marriage in 1934. She was a twin sister of the late Mrs. Harold Slack, 1824 Marion Avenue. While a resident here, she was an active member of the Immanuel United Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Carolina Miller Maneely. Surviving are three daughters and eight grandchildren, all of Munster; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Johnson of Columbus and Mrs. Elsie Leasure of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Raymond Maneely of Cleveland Heights and Carl Maneely of Coraopolis, PA. Burial will be in Hammond, Indiana. |
