| About | Dorothy Jane Allen, 96, of Zanesville went to be with the lord when she passed away, at 3:05 PM Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born October 5, 1924 in Marion, Ohio, living most of her life in Zanesville, Ohio. Dorothy is a daughter of the late Bernard and Eulaia Gay Eppley. She was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ. Surviving are two daughter, Marcia (Dale) Blosser and Dolores Moore; a son, Carlos Allen Jr; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and niece and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. Eppley and Bernard Eppley Jr; a sister, Edith Orwig. Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM till time of service at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE WITH Mr. William Meaige officiating. Burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery, Duncan Falls, Ohio. |
