| About | CATHEDRAL CITY, CA: Dorothy Jean (Burns) Smith passed away July 25, 2011 at 12:45 a.m. Dorothy was born in Zanesville, April 28, 1930, to William and Mathilda Krouskoupf Burns. She is survived by and was the loving wife of Arthur Lewis Smith. They had been married for 57 years. She is survived by her children, Barbara Jean Smith of Gardena, CA and Thomas Lee (Tena) Smith of Kingman, AZ; three grandchildren, Trisha (Josh) Rowberry of Las Vegas, NV, Brittany Smith of Las Vegas, NV and Scott Smith of Gardena, CA; and three great grandchildren. She leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and many special nieces and nephews. Dorothy left Zanesville in 1950 to find her way in California. She met Arthur and only came back to visit her parents and family. She was a great wife, mom, grandma and great grandma and the very best friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed by all. |
