| About | Dorothy Joann Chambers, 89y of Zanesville died at 6:42 PM Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Genesis Hospital following a short illness. She was born March 14, 1934 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Wilbur Raymond Hina and Dorothy "Dora" Eva Dodson Hina. Joann was a previous member of Meadow Farm United Methodist and current member of Rolling Plains United Methodist Church where she enjoyed participating in church activities. She retired after 25 years from Brockway Glass Company, enjoyed square dancing most of life, and mostly enjoyed spending quality time with family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Charles Herbert "Herb" Chambers, four children, Marcia Edwards, Thomas A. (Debra) Latier, Terry (Diana) Latier & Michael (Glena) Latier; grandchildren, Heather, Heidi, Tyler Wayne (Aubrie Clarke), Kimberly (Karl) Ford, Ashley Latier, Terie Lei (Zach) Lytton, Melissa (Terry) Hosey, Amy (Glenn) King; great grandchildren, Ledger Little, Emma (David Weber) Birkhimer, Gabriel "Gabbi" Birkhimer, Paisley Lytton, Lynlie Lytton & another one on the way; numerous great great grandchildren; siblings, Shelby Snelling, Sandra (Jerry) Jarrett, Karen Chapman, Sara Schulze, Larry Hina, Clyde (Vicki) Hina, Chuck (Sue) Hina & Russell (Cindy) Hina; numerous nices, nephews & many friends. In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Anthony Latier; a grandson Jeremy Wayne Latier; her siblings, Wilber Hina, Ronald Hina & Donna Hicks; and a son-law, Terry J. Edwards. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM with funeral service at 2:30 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor John Alice officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
