About | Edward F. Boggs, 64, of Mariposa, California, died Thursday, July 7, 1994, at his daughter's home in Benicia, California, after a short battle with cancer. Born July 22, 1929, in Zanesville, Mr. Boggs graduated from Lash High School in 1947. He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954, when he was discharged as a corporal. He graduated from Ohio State in 1956 with a B.S. in civil engineering. He worked for 15 years at Portland Cement Association and was also a project supervisor for the National Park Service. During his years in Zanesville , he was an active member of Central Presbyterian Church as a deacon, a member of the Board of Trustees, served as President of the Board of Trustees and was elected an Elder of the church. Surviving are a daughter, Molly Boggs of Benicia, California; a son, William E. (Eddie) Boggs of Rochester, NY; a sister Betsy Boggs of Zanesville; and a brother, William E Boggs of Murrysville, PA. . He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgina Stuller Boggs, who passed in 1988 Mr. Boggs' remains will be scattered in the Pacific Ocean. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. |
