About | Eileen E. Sims Bentley, age 75 of Zanesville, went home to be with the Lord 11:20 AM, Thursday, February 25, 2021, in Zanesville, following a long illness. She was born Friday, August 10, 1945, in Zanesville, the daughter of Michael E. Sims and Florence E. (Preston) Sims. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working with puzzles, and being involved with her church. She is survived by J. Charles "Chuck" Bentley; five children: Ronald Sims, of Zanesville, Tina (Tim) Moody of Glenford, twins Karl(Joyce)Sasser and Karla (Todd) Groves, all of Zanesville; daughter-in-law; Lisa (Tommy) Newsome of Zanesville; 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; four step sons: Wesley Bentley of Newark, Ricky C. Bentley, Chris Bentley & Charles amd James "Buddy" Bentley all of Zanesville; one brother, Michael E. Sims of Hillburo, TN, and one sister, Sue Tracy of Zanesville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons; Carl Lewis Sasser and Thomas Sasser; one grandson, Michael Newsome; and three brothers, David Sims, Thomas V. Sims and Jonathan Sims. Friends may call from 12 Noon to 1 PM, on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Trinity Full Gospel Church, 535 Munson Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 1PM with Pastor Donnie Roland officiating. Due to current health concerns, masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Burial will conclude in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville. |
