| About | Elizabeth Sue “Susie” (Covert) Roberts, 4-2-1952 to 12-26-2023 Heaven gained another angel last night on December 26, 2023, at Genesis Hospital with Susie’s family by her side. Susie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Covert, and her mother, Virginia (Bland) Covert. Her brother, Eddie Covert, Robert Covert Jr.; her sister, Sally Thomas; her daughter, Kimberly Sue Roberts; and her step-son, Keith Adam Roberts. Susie is survived by her children, Jodi (Earl) Roberts-Stapleton, Kevin Roberts, Steve (Dana) Roberts Jr., and William J. “BJ” (Jenn) Roberts; her grandchildren, Slade Roberts, Charlie Roberts, Austin Roberts, Weslee Roberts, Brandon Stapleton, Colton Fraley, Stephanie Stapleton, Emma Roberts, Jazmine Roberts, Danyelle Newhouse, Adrianna Newhouse, and Issiah Newhouse; her great-grandchildren, Lukas, London, Silas, John, Mason, Hunter, Hayden; her siblings, Harriett Dalton and William Covert; as well as her loving husband of forty-seven years, Stephen P. Roberts Sr., whom she married November 25, 1977. Susie was a past member of the Chandlersville Eastern Star and served for twenty plus years on Harrison Township EMS, serving as an intermediate EMT. Susie was also employed by Campbells Market in Duncan Falls and the South Zanesville Walmart. She loved fishing and hunting with her husband. Susie cherished her family, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Susie was a beloved and doting sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by the ones she leaves behind. |
