| About | Elaine Scheufler was born 6 Oct 1933 in Toledo. She graduated from Zanesville High School in 1951, earned an A.B. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1955, and received a Master of Arts degree from Western Reserve University in 1957. On 21 Jun 1956 Elaine married John Montgomery Bushman Jr. (1932-2008); they divorced in 1983. John and Elaine were the parents of three sons: John Montgomery III (born 1 Aug 1958) of North Richland Hills, TX; Bradley Jay (born 14 Feb 1960) of Anderson Township, Hamilton County, OH; and Eric S. (born 30 Dec 1961) of Scottsville, KY. They leave six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Elaine passed away 24 Apr 1993 in Akron of ovarian cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Rev. Karl William and Ada Irene Mills Scheufler. |
