About | Ethel L. Fisher, 92, of Zanesville, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency Room. She was born June 30, 1919, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Charles and Freda Lutz Hosler. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. Ethel retired from Hazel Atlas Plant 1. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo, loved to shop, travel, was a member of the Eastern Star Olive Branch #251 for over 60 years and the Amrou Grotto Cauldron. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Jean Rutter of Prospect, and Marilyn Sue (Virgil) Pickrell of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Thomas (Cassie) Rutter of Marion, John (Dana) Rutter of Springfield, Christina Rutter of Richwood, Virgil W. ( Tonia) Pickrell of Copley, Michael (Heather) Rutter of Prospect, and Darrin "Bull" Pickrell of Zanesville; eighteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a sister, Edna Crawford of Avondale; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Fisher in 1995, a great granddaughter, Adalynn Patton; four brothers, Walter, Clarence Charles and Ralph Hosler; four sisters, Betty Lotterbaugh, Erma Ansel, Ruth Sheets and Margaret V. Stevens. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Tom at Zanesville Memorial Park. |
