Faye Marie Sibbring, born December 19, 1910 in Zanesville, Ohio to George and Emma Flickinger, passed away January 13, 2015 in San Leandro, California. She was an active participant at her 104th birthday party held last month at her son James home in San Leandro. Faye graduated from Lash High School in 1929. She was active in Eastern Star and in the Zanesville garden club. Faye married Alfred E. Sibbring on January 1, 1931. Son, James was born June 24, 1934 and son, Russell was born January 14, 1939. She has six grandchildren, Wendy, Derek, Alfred, Jason, Janis and Justin; seven great grandchildren, Chancey, Saundra, Isabella, Sophia, Audriana, Emmett and Robbie. She and Alfred moved away from Zanesville in 1986 to join their sons and grandchildren living in California. While living in Zanesville she and husband, Alfred were avid fisherman and hunters. In the near future there will be a family and friends gathering to celebrate Faye's long, healthy and happy life. |
