Dr. Festus Lazelle "Zelle" Minnear was born August 4, 1896 in West Virginia to Tola Lloyd and Doris B. Minnear. The family moved to Zanesville, Ohio, where Lazelle graduated from Zanesville High School with the Class of 1914. He went on to become a doctor settling in Olympia, Washington. He married twice, first to a woman named Leticia and then to Mildred Luers, who passed in 1999. F. Lazelle Minnear passed on August 17, 1985. He was cremated and his ashes buried at Tempo Lake, Olympia, Wa. under a blue spruce. |
