| About | Florence M. Risen, a lifelong resident of Zanesville, age 92 passed away on December 19, 2016. Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mollie Waterman; husband, Ray Risen; sister, Tillie Calig; brothers, Samuel Waterman, Bernard Waterman, David Waterman and Joseph Waterman. She is survived by her sons, David (Karen) Risen, James (Mary Jane) Risen, Aaron (Sharon) Risen; daughters, Sonia (Joe) Allen, Babbette Risen and Deena Mavromatis; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Florence was a devoted mother and for many years was office manager of the local Calig & Handelman Law firm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, December 22 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn – Temple Israel Section. Shiva will be observed at the home of James and Mary Jane Risen following the burial |
