| About | Florence L. Norman, age 91 of Zanesville, passed away 2:00 AM, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born Sunday, September 18, 1932, in Zanesville, the daughter of Walter "Pug" Hill and Della (Scott) Hill. She was married to Curtis Norman who preceded her in death on Wednesday, October 23, 1991. Florence was a Christian by faith and a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Florence is survived by 2 daughters: Carmen (Robert) Green of Columbus and Karla (Bradley) Duling of Newark: 3 sons: Michael E. (Pamela) Norman of Zanesville, Steven L. (Winnie) Norman of Huntington Beach, CA and Kevin W. Norman of FL; 17 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Velma Hill of Malta and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, She was preceded in death by one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Charles "Kent" Merriman, one brother, Robert L. Hill, and twin grandchildren, Joshua and Joseph Duling. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home with Elder Terrence E.
