About | ZANESVILLE: Frances M. Morrison, 79, of Zanesville, died at 12:52 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2011 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. She was born September 20, 1932, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Clyde H. and Hazel Harris Besser. She had worked for 19 years in food service for Zanesville City Schools and as a cashier for Juanita's Restaurant for 20 years. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, K. Russell Morrison, whom she married May 4, 1968, of the home; her children, which were the love of her life, Gerald (Lori) Barnhart, Carolyn (James) Warfield, Kenneth (Keri) Barnhart and Tamera (David) Downey; 12 grandchildren, Jenna, Jill, Jodi, Christa, Shawn, Austin, Conner, Cody, Nathan, Brandon, Shane and Jamie; 11 great grandchildren, Josie, Brody, Alexis, Riley, Madi, Carter, Chance, Kira, Kaci, Kaelyn, and Arianna; and a sister, Sara Bruce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith Barnhart; a sister, Leota Paulus; two brothers, Harold Kreuter and Donald Ketterer; and a lifelong friend, Juanita Paxson. Frances will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
