About | Tim Wilkins, 71, of Zanesville, died peacefully in the hilltop home he built and shared with his loving wife, Sherry for 47 years at 12:27 A.M. on Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born April 24, 1951, in Zanesville, a son of the late Galen D. and Ellen Thompson Wilkins. He attended Washington Township Baptist Church, enjoyed playing pickleball, Tennis and Golf. Tim had a hole in one (184 Yards) at the Jaycee Golf Course in 1986 and worked for Auto Zone Distribution Center as an inventory controller. Tim loved going on vacation, traveling and especially loved his daughter and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry Hittle Wilkins, whom he married June 15, 1975; a daughter, Kaci (Justin) Tyo; two grandchildren, Kolton Lee Tyo and Journey Lea Tyo; a sister, Terrie Laudenbacher; two brothers in law, Stanley (Sandy) Hittle and Gary Hittle; childhood friend, Steve (Cathy) King and special friends, Jeff Jalbrzikowski and Mike Holbert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Jack Laudenbacher, sister-in-law, Sally Hittle; grandparents, Harry and Ada Thompson and Ada and Clarence Wilkins, and childhood friends, John Masterson and Jim Waters. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, with Pastor Chris Riggs officiating. He will be laid to rest at Washington Twp Baptist Church Cemetery, Zanesville. |
