| About | George E. Ansel, 43, of Zanesville, died Sunday, Feburary 26, 1995, at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born June, 2, 1951 in Zanesville, Mr. Ansel was a store keeper for the Ohio Department of Transportation and attended the Westwood Baptist Church. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge No 302, VFW George Selsam Post No. 1058, American Legion Post No. 29, Roseville Msonic Lodge No. 0566, Amrou Grotto No. 45 and Muskingum Valley Old Timers Assn. He was the Commissioner of Babe Ruth Baseball Ohio District No. 4 He was also the public address announcer for the Zanes Greys Baseball team and board member of the Y-City Midget League. Surviving are his parents, Russell A. and Erma Hosler of Zanesville; wife, Jenilee LaMay Ansel, whom he marred June 24, 1994, a son, Charles F. Ansel of Zanesville, a stepson, Erik D. LaMay of the home; and a sister, Barbara Edwards of Zanesville. |
