George H. Sletzer, 73, of Zanesville, passed away January 20, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born March 18, 1941 in Zanesville, son of the late Henry and Florence (James) Sletzer. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Armco Steel.He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kernan Sletzer whom he married May 15, 1960; sons, John (Rhonda) Sletzer of North Carolina, Jeffery (Gloria) Sletzer of Zanesville; daughters, Tina (Randal) Nelson of Zanesville, Teresa (Rodney Taylor) Church of North Carolina; brother, Ralph Sletzer of Zanesville; sister, Martha (Ronald) Ball of Zanesville; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday, January 25, 2015 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 11:00 am Monday, January 26, 2015. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park. |
