About | Gerald Lee "Barney" Barnhart, 62, of Zanesville passed away on Friday November 22, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Barney was born on October 11, 1951 in Zanesville to Raymond Eli Barnhart and Frances Besser Barnhart (Russell) Morrison. He was a Foreman for White Machine, a former fire fighter for Newton Township, enjoyed fishing, Ohio State Football, and Ham Radio (KA8GHT). He is survived by his wife, Lori Null Barnhart of the home, five children, Jenna (Rodshay Burney) Dietz, Jodi (Michael) Lang, Jill (Jim) Stemm, Austin Barnhart and Conner Barnhart all of Zanesville; a brother, Kenny (Keri) Barnhart of Zanesville; two sisters, Carolyn (Jim) Warfield of Zanesville and Tammy (Dave) Downey of Marietta; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his father and mother-in-law, Derry and Connie Null. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Barnhart. Calling hours will be from 5-8pm on Monday November 25 and from 12-1pm on Tuesday November 26 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday in The Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Linda Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
