About | Goldie Lucille Holbert, 78 of Zanesville, passed away October 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 30, 1940 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Bernard Moore and Goldie Keller Moore. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Sterling United Methodist Church. She was wonderful cook, caregiver and will be sadly missed by everyone. She is survived by her husband Richard “Harley” Holbert they would have celebrated their 60th anniversary on October 20, 2018; children, Kim (Ray) Cook, Mike (Tonya) Holbert, Kelley (Jim) Settles, Mark Holbert, Matt Holbert; siblings, Gene Moore, Bill Moore, Pat Stroud, Bob Moore, Anne Wickham, Rick Moore, Janet Collins; sister-in-law Dorothy Knaup; brother-in-law Phil Holbert; grandchildren, Mitchell, Marcus and Brittany Cook, JP and Cameron Settles, Megan Yingling, Shane Holbert and Olivia Holbert; great-grandchildren, Kace Bowen, Emma and Anthony Rivers, Preston Cook, Meison Smith, Grayson and Gavin Yingling; several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant daughter Kathy Holbert; sisters, Carol Moore and Debbie Weatherspoon; sister-in-law Madelyn German; brother-in-law Ernie Holbert; in-laws, Henry and Sylvia Holbert. Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday October 14, 2018 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where service will take place at 11:00 am Monday October 15, 2018 with Pastor Ron Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery. |
