| About | Gregory L Blake, age 65 of Zanesville died 5:17 PM, Friday, January 01, 2016 at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison. He was born Tuesday, March 21, 1950 in Zanesville, a son of Mary Anne (Freiermuth) Blake and the late Lewis Blake. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Gregory was a 1969 graduate of Zanesville High School and he enjoyed walking his two Labradors Malachi and Michah. In addition to his mother he is survived by one brother: Tim (Brenda) Blake of Nashport; one sister: Bev (Joe) Olah of Zanesville; nieces and nephews: Tayler Blake, Kevin Blake, Alec Blake, Caden Blake, and Stacy Maurer; and great-nephew: Evan Maurer. In addition to his father Mr. Blake was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter and Mary Faye Freiermuth, Jason and Amanda Blake and Aunt Dorothy Freiermuth. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH where a Christian vigil will take place at 7:45PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, January 4, 2016 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Martin Ralko as celebrant. Burial will conclude in the Mt. Olive Cemetery Zanesville. |
