| About | Harold "Skip" Adrian Young Jr., 74, of Zanesville passed at 7:21 PM Friday, October 24, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on Monday, May 14, 1951, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Harold Adrian Young Sr. and Mary McDonald Young. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was a member of Freedom City Church. He worked for Paul Construction for most of his life. Harold enjoyed staying busy, either fishing, hunting, cutting firewood, or going to yard sales. He is survived by his two children, Heather (Damon) Milstead and Harold Adrian Young III; grandchildren, Dylan (Lydia Fink) Milstead and Emma (Jake Delorenzo) Milstead; a brother, Gerald (Peggy) Young; a sister, Cheryl Brooks; two nephews, Casey Young and Chance Young; two aunts, Sara Edwards and Georgie McDonald; two uncles, Tom McDonald and Larry Boyce; and the Davis Family. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Young; and a sister, Carol Denny. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 31, 2025, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Shaw officiating. Burial will conclude at St. Paul Cemetery. |
