| About | Harold R. "Russ" Moore, 64 of Zanesville, died 1:31 AM Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan ER following a lengthy illness. He was born Wednesday, November 30, 1949 in Zanesville, the son of Harold R. Moore, Sr. and Mildred (Walters) Moore. He married Debra S. "Debbie" (Fellers) Moore on Saturday, May 10, 1980 and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Russ, along with his wife Debbie, are the McDonald's Franchisee's for the restaurants located in Dresden, Cambridge and Byesville. He was actively involved in community interests and events, in addition to his many philanthropic endeavors. He was very involved in the local chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Russ was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He was very friendly and outgoing and will be missed by those who knew him. Russ is survived by his wife: Debbie Moore; three daughters: Angela and Wesley Hammer, Nicole Moore and her fiancée': Trent Baughman and his sons: Tyler and Andrew Baughman and Rachel Moore all of Zanesville; six grandchildren: Jaiden Hammer, Myleigh Hammer and Weston Hammer; Vasillia Valdez, Xziya Lea and Zen Lea-Kessler all of Zanesville; one brother: Gary and Barb Moore and one sister: Patricia Klamke all of Zanesville; and many cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till time of service on Monday, June 23, 2014 at The Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dean Cole officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zanesville Chapter # 15 Ducks Unlimited, 3808 James Court, Zanesville, OH 43701, Christ Table, 28 South Sixth Street, PO Box 233, Zanesville, OH 43702-0233, The Muskingum Valley Chapter of The American Red Cross, PO Box 397, Zanesville, OH 43702-0397 or a charity of one's choice in Russ's memory. |
