| About | Harry Lloyd Miller, age 86 of Nashport, passed away peacefully Saturday May 17, 2014 at Willow Haven Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.He was born October 16, 1927 in Muskingum County and was the son of the late Alva P. and Mabel Alice (Hamble) Miller. Harry graduated from Lash High School. He proudly served his county in the Army during WW II. Harry was employed with the B & O Railroad as a train director. After retirement he moved to St. Petersburg Florida, where he attended college and earned his real estate license. He enjoyed selling time-shared property while in Florida. Harry enjoyed spending time with his family, working on his computer, playing cards and chess, and walking. He is survived by his daughters, Marcia (Vic) Thompson and Cindy (Wave) Tyson; six cherished grandchildren: Justin (Amy) Thompson, Jordan Thompson, Christopher Thompson, Russell (Janel) Thompson, Robert Tyson, and Regina Tyson; six great-grandchildren, Hannah Thompson, Carson Thompson, Molly Tyson, Hunter Holmes, Rhett Tyson, and Paige Tyson; a brother, Bill Miller; and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. |
