About | H. Juanita (Nita) Robison, 91 of Zanesville, went home to the Lord on Monday July 29, 2024. She was born on August 2, 1932, in Malta, Ohio, daughter of the late William Walker and Etta (Medley) Walker. Juanita was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, serving on various committees over the years. She was a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary and a graduate of the class of 1950 from Lash High School. Nita is survived by her sons, Jay (Janet B.) James of Lakeland, Florida, Jerry “Boomer” (Rhonda) James, of Marietta, Ohio, daughter in law, Janet L. James, of Zanesville, Ohio; her loving stepson, Glenn Wheeler, of Plain City, Ohio, and stepdaughter, Kathy (Joe) Buckey, of Zanesville, Ohio. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Walker, of Zanesville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews, each she dearly loved. In addition to her parents, Juanita is preceded in death by her husbands, Earl K. James, Carl E. Wheeler, and Richard N. Robison; son, Kenneth James; brother, William Walker; beloved sisters, Margaret Denbow, Norma Lindimore, Gladys Anderson, Faye Ullman, Jeanne Hupp, and Pauline Hall; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Calling hours will be held on Friday August 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
