About | Helen Mae (Becky) Coulter, 92, of Zanesville, died at 7:14 A.M. on Friday, April 21, 2017, at Primrose Retirement Community of Zanesville. She was born October 13, 1924 in Clinton, Indiana, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Effie E. Julian Darby. She graduated from Lash High School in 1942 and was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church. Helen was active in the Garfield PTA, Dillon Home & School League, West Muskingum Boosters, West Muskingum PTO, Westview CCL, Coburn United Methodist Church Klothes for Kids, Earich Truth Seekers Class, and an avid bridge player in several clubs. She is survived by three sons, retired Col. Kenneth C. (Tu Sim) Coulter of Corpus Christi, TX., Jeffery Jay (Kathi) Coulter of Coeur d’Alene, ID, and Orville Kevin (Karen) Coulter of Lehigh Acres, FL.; four grandchildren, Oliver, Kimberly, Andrea, and Ericka; and seven great-grandchildren, Owen, Luke, Hope, Daniel, Issac, Sarah and Darby and a sister-in-law, Pricilla A. Bridwell of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Orville K. (O.K.) Coulter; two sisters, Elizabeth Groce and Mary Jane (Jaynie) Gosnell; and two brothers, Thomas (Juke) Darby and William H. Darby. Friends and family may call from 5-8 P.M. P.M. on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 Maple Avenue, Zanesville with Pastor Justin Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. |
