| About | Howard R. Bailey, 92, of Zanesville, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born August 24, 1919, in Zanesville, a son of the late Joseph Clarence and Emma Snyder Bailey. He had worked for Armco Steel and was owner and operator of HR Bailey Cabinets since 1970. He was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Lafayette Lodge #79 F&AM for over 60 years, 32° Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, Shrine, and Amrou Grotto. Surviving are a son, Gary (Gloria) Bailey; a daughter, Karen Newsom; two grandchildren: Jacob and Gregory Bailey; and a brother, Donald Bailey of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jane Best Bailey; two brothers, Harold and Glen Bailey and a son-in-law William Newsom. Howard will be laid to rest next to his wife, Dorothy, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
