| About | Jack B. Schaumleffel, 65, of Zanesville, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Genesis Good Samaritan Campus following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Thursday, July 9, 1942, in Zanesville, the son of Glenn and Margaret (Harmon) Schaumleffel Moats, and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Jack retired from Lear Corporation following more than 20 years of service. He was an adoring father, grandfather, and uncle, as well as an avid golfer and fisherman. Jack is survived by two sons, Scott (Tera Mautz) Schaumleffel of Zanesville and Jeff (Maggie) Schaumleffel of the Florida Keys; two grandchildren, Corbin and Graham Schaumleffel; two nephews, Jim (Lynda Barr) Schaumleffel of Nashport and Larry Medina of Newark; two nieces, Chris (Jeff) Dodson of Zanesville and Peggy Medina of Newark; and one great-nephew, Ryan Dodson. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Mike Schaumleffel; one sister, Barbara Medina; and one great-nephew, Kyle Dodson. |
