About | Jackie “Jack” Lee Lowry, 70, of Zanesville, died on Friday, February 2, 2018 at his home. He was born May 8, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio, a son of the late Ralph A. and Virginia M. Williams Lowry. He graduated from Zanesville High School. He is an active member at Word of Life Ministries and was a former Zanesville City police officer. He worked for Columbia Cement until they closed their doors and the proud owner of Lowry’s Towing & Auto Repair, which he opened 42 years ago. Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years Becky Alford Lowry of the home; a son Ted (Shonda) Lowry; two daughters, Tina (Donald) Wagner and Tammy (Shawn) Smith; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph (Sylvia) Lowry of Louisville, Kentucky, and Randy Lowry of Zanesville; as well as the many friends and loyal customers he made over the past 40 years. Friends and family may call from 5-8 P.M. on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday February 8, 2018, with Rev. John Sensabaugh officiating. Jack will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville. |
